A DAILY 7 MINUTE VACATION INSIDE YOUR OWN BODY
Two keys to fulfilling (long lasting) sex and intimacy are:
1. being in touch with your body
2. being in the here and now
After all, your body is the main playing field of sensuality and sexuality.
And, after all, your body lives utterly in the present moment, not in the past and not in the future.; what 'worked' yesterday may not be pleasurable today.
If you don't have a way to bring yourself into the present moment and in your body,
you may want to try out this simple, yet profound daily 'vacation', here, now, in your body.
Over time it becomes more natural to 'be-with-your-body' and listen to it.
So, here we go:
1. Sit or lie down, taking care you won't be disturbed for at least 7 minutes.
2. Place your right hand on your chest, mid breastbone. This is where your energetic heart lives.
3. Place your left hand on top of your belly, below your navel, or, if you can easily reach it, over your
4. Inhale in a natural, but attentive way, to your hand on your chest.
5. Next, inhale to the hand on your belly / pubic bone.
Keep alternating the breaths to chest and belly.
When your mind wanders about, as it is likely to do, gently bring it back to your breathing.
6. When the time is up, take a moment to transition back into whatever is happening in your life.
Your heart area connects you to the infinite, cosmic mystery of love; Your belly / pubic area
connects you to the wonder of earth and life in matter. I hope this 'vacation' has taken you away from
